The Estée Lauder Companies Breast Cancer Campaign

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, where women across the world power up to educate, motivate and inspire each one of us.

Thirty years ago, in 1992, Evelyn H. Lauder co-created the globally recognized Pink Ribbon and launched The Estée Lauder Companies Breast Cancer Campaign inspiring a global movement around its mission to help create a breast cancer-free world once and for all.

At a time when breast cancer wasn’t spoken about openly, Evelyn H. Lauder saw an opportunity to unite people everywhere and make a difference. “I’d like to be able to save lives.” – Evelyn H. Lauder.

Since then, the Breast Cancer Campaign has become the Estée Lauder Companies’ largest corporate philanthropic initiative. The Estée Lauder Companies' goal is to generate widespread awareness and education across the Middle East region on breast cancer highlighting the importance of self-testing, early detection, and prevention.

This October, the Estée Lauder Companies celebrate and honor the Campaign’s 30th Anniversary.

Featuring four inspirational women who have survived breast cancer. They talk about their personal journeys with breast cancer, their dreams, and how they beat the disease to fulfill them. Some survivors highlight a crucial aspect of why they beat the disease, such as self-examination and early detection. While others focus on the importance of spreading awareness in our region.

These featured emotional journeys are meant to spread awareness across the Middle East around breast cancer – empowering women of all ages to stand united in fighting it.
