Summer Skincare Routine
16 April 2022 | By: FACES Team
The sun is rising! Everyone knows a few summer skin care tips, such as wearing sunscreen and drinking plenty of water, as well as covering your head with a scarf or hat. However, these are insufficient. Follow a summer skincare routine and make a few lifestyle modifications to maintain healthy and bright skin throughout the season.
Don't know where to start or what to do? Let us handle it! In this post, we'll provide ten recommendations for glowing, healthy skin from head to toe throughout the season.
SPF
Wear sunscreen. It's the most crucial, don't-leave-home-without-it recommendation. On all exposed skin, we recommend using a broad-spectrum sunscreen with an SPF of 30 or higher. Hands, feet, ears, and lips should all be considered.
LIGHTWEIGHT CLEANSER
Because of the heat and humidity, you can use a light, foamy cleanser instead of a heavier cleanser (think cream or oil cleanser). We want your skin to feel light for the long sunny days.
TONER
A toner is utilized to shut all of your skin's open pores. Summertime causes the skin to generate a lot of oil, which collects in these open pores and causes acne. With the use of refreshing toners, this may be prevented.
Just a Few Steps Away From Healthy, Beautiful Skin
These six steps represent all the basic day-to-day care your skin needs to be at its best. Taking time to choose products ideally suited to your skin type will also result in a glowier, more youthful complexion.
With FACES, you can find all the featured products above and more, including extra treats like masks and exfoliants to give your skin a helping hand.

DUAL MOISTURISER
During the summer, use a combined moisturizer and sunscreen to help lighten things up. As long as you use a liberal amount and reapply every couple of hours, just like you would with conventional sunscreen. Replacing one skin-care step with a combination moisturizer/SPF will help clear your skin.
VITAMIN C
Vitamin C is beneficial all year, but it is especially crucial in the summer. It can aid with collagen formation, reduce hyperpigmentation, and enhance the look of fine wrinkles. Between cleaning and moisturizing, apply a few drops to your skin.
EXFOLIATOR
Although dermatologists warn us not to over-exfoliate, summer is the perfect time to do just that. Include "additional exfoliation" in your skin-care routine if you have oily skin. That doesn't imply you should exfoliate every day, but gradually increase the number of days you exfoliate every week.
