Send a message
You can compose a new message to another site user through the
Mailbox in the 'My Account' menu down the left of the site. Mouse click
Compose to load the area to write your message.
Writing your message
Before writing your message you will need to know the username of the person you are writing to. You fill this into the 'Message to:' section. If you have this person as a friend already, the site will suggest an auto-completed version of the name.
Enter the subject of the message is self-explanatory, thinking of something catchy will help you stand out from the rest of the crowd.
Use the larger text area to write the message body of the message you are sending. It is recommend to take your time sending this and use the spell checker function (shown as the ABC icon bottom right of the message area) and proof reading what you've written.
Customize your message
You can get creative with your message and customize the formatting, by using the bold
b , italic
i and underline
u options available. You can also change the color of your text, the font size and include relevant emotions by mouse clicking onto the options shown.
You will need to mouse click and drag across the text to highlight it for the text that you wish to customize, using the customize options explained.
Add a photo
Adding a photo from your profile into your message will make it more interesting for the recipient. Mouse click 'Add Photo' to load up your gallery and mouse click on as many photos as you would like to include. This will insert code into your message text which you need to leave in order for the photos to show to the recipient.
Preview your message
It is always recommended to preview your message before you send it, by mouse clicking the 'Preview' button. This is how your message will appear to the person you are sending it to.
Send your message
If you are happy with what you've written, finalise by mouse clicking 'Send'. Please be aware that once the message has been sent, there is no way to edit or delete it from the recipients end.
